Always makes me smile. Reminds me of sweet times, maybe 16 years ago.

I’ve always admired “simple” ink drawings. Nothing simple about it, really. Not yet.

I’m practicing.

Turtle symbology seems important to me this year. I keep stumbling across ideologies, fables and religious stories about turtles.

Today, I drew one.

Sort of just revealed himself to me, a friendly fantasy face.

Feeling able to make stuff again, even words.

My chemo port. Very beige, rounded shapes. More military than particularly medical.

Looks to me like something from an old radio station from one of the national labs – part of something that has dials and toggles and was developed in the 40’s.

Chamomile is soothing and healing. So I drew some for my sister – but I think I need some too.

I suddenly feel like having some chamomile tea.
