My friend Martina Leber will be reading and signing her book of poetry, the infinity between two heartbeats. It’s at a bookshop/cafe with boho charm, Bukofski, and I will be there (of course) to share good cheer.

The LeseFest 2026 – Reading Festival for next year – will have its kick-off event at the Haus der Jugend, and I will be there to see how I might get involved for next year’s festival.

September 14

In downtown Mainz, I’ll be joining the International Improv Jam, to flex my spontaneous acting abilities. This is serious playtime, but it’s my strong feeling that this will help me become a better writer. And I want to meet some fellow oddballs. This is something I’ve been wanting to do for a long time, and finally, I’ve got the chance. Everything is aligned! Oh yah. I’m doin’ this.

October 25-26

This year, I’ll be foregoing the International Book Fair in Frankfurt (which is also in October). Instead, I’ll be circulating through the 24th Annual Mainzer Book Fair, to talk about the City of Literature Initiative. The book fair will be held at the Academy for Science and Literature, which is pretty cool.
