Dear Diary,

Meh. Today was all about my time in the hospital. It wouldn’t generally tick me off so much, except that it should have been considerably more brief. It took, instead, my entire day.

Another screw-up with the application forms for chemo rehab – I don’t get it. I also don’t understand why I wasn’t given a heads-up about it. If I hadn’t decided to stop by the social offices on campus, I still wouldn’t know. The papers have been forwarded.

But the larger annoyance was everything else. My morning was all about preparing for the hospital. The day was at the hospital. Once I was finally able to return home, it was all about recovering from having been at the hospital.

During chemo, a hospital day is just that – it’s a day, all day, at the hospital. But this should have been a quick in-and-out and it just wasn’t and I’m rather ticked. Definitely the last time I ever go to the hospital, regardless of the reason, without a thick book!

Grr.

See you tomorrow,

KC
