Dear Diary,

Today was mostly about being exhausted due to poor sleep but needing to be at the hospital anyway: meeting with the oncologist, getting the antibody shot in my leg and waiting a lot. Keeping my eyes open while waiting turned out to be a challenge. It gave me time to think about my story, but I couldn’t focus enough to do more than semi-dream.

It’s strange how chemo makes the sun more extreme – I’m practically a vampire these days. Needed to drape my scarf over me like a tent, as even my hands were burning. Walking across the hospital campus, I got some funny stares.

It probably wasn’t even that hot for most people.

Tomorrow will be better, more productive.

See you then,

KC
