This is the first design I created after coming home from my mastectomy. It’s quite different from anything I’ve ever created before.
I started with just wanting to tinker with the zigzag shape and play that out into other shapes. I wondered when a zig or zag would become something else, like a triangle, a tree, an arrow, a little house. It was fun letting the simplest shapes reveal other images to me, and ultimately, those images that suggested certain ideas and philosophies.
It’s my hope that the 2020s will bring some real changes towards re-greening the earth and setting back climate change before it’s too late. That’s what this design is all about.
