I always feel good after making one of these. It’s a psychological exercise I learned in art therapy two years ago.

Very cathartic. Not to be legible – just layers of my feelings right now.

Sun = too much.
Sleep = too little.

Certainty I’m getting better = yep.

Feels good to be writing. Really writing.

Shanti Bickler is the last character for this story. A woman with a past. I really like her – she’s just so messed up, but doing her best to be better.

Maybe failing sometimes.

Here’s Samuel Holt, a character who may not survive the final edit of my story.

I’m a strong believer in recycling. Even if Sam doesn’t make it into this story, I’ll likely use him for a different one.
