Dear Diary,

In writing my murder mystery story, I came to a stop this morning when I realized I didn’t really know what two characters in particular looked like – because I hadn’t drawn them yet. Shocked that I hadn’t yet needed to decide upon this, I’m now not even sure I need these characters to be in the story.

My plan is to go forward with creating them and writing them into the story – and if they need to be cut later, then so be it. I want to at least try to write what I originally planned. If it doesn’t work, it doesn’t work. I can always rewrite and/or edit.

As the saying goes, there is no writing, only rewriting.

Here’s Samuel Holt, a business man with drive and at least a certain amount of success, despite his lack of social skills.

See you tomorrow,

KC
