Feels good to be writing. Really writing.

Shanti Bickler is the last character for this story. A woman with a past. I really like her – she’s just so messed up, but doing her best to be better.

Maybe failing sometimes.

Here’s Samuel Holt, a character who may not survive the final edit of my story.

I’m a strong believer in recycling. Even if Sam doesn’t make it into this story, I’ll likely use him for a different one.

I love words and often wonder about etymology. (I know it’s from mugshot – I’m playing with the words.)

This has nothing to do with anything at all, except for that. I love words.

Plus, it’s now September.

I got to experience a rare thing, and with it an even rarer sense of peace.

Used a chemo rehab technique to help me sort through the noise in my head and get a handle on what I want my mystery writing to achieve.

Feeling really good about this.
