Dear Diary,
These are lobsters, rather fascinating creatures that mate for life. They dance. I’ve been thinking loosely about a graphic novel idea inspired (in part) by lobsters.
My thinking is that it should be mostly visual, with almost no words at all. Having written a couple attempts at a written manuscript that just didn’t work out at all, I feel like what I have in my head and how I feel about it should be expressed with just visuals.
Of course, I’ve never done this before. And these more technical drawings are just my attempt to sort of get familiar with the shapes and lines of a real lobster.
The protagonist I have in mind is a mythical creature, but with certain lobster-qualities. I have no idea if this will work, but I feel like it could be amazing.
