Dear Diary,

After dealing with side effects, I got down to some drawing. Zhang Lin is the rising prodigy with a terrible secret in the story I’m writing, and I’m pleased with how his portrait turned out. I wanted him to be young and attractive, and he is that I think.

The Zhang drawing came easily, so I went back to my recent portrait of Tonya Meiers – see if I could fix her hair. I think it’s better. Still not thrilled. Maybe it’s more to do with the expression on her face. It’s grim. But it’s because she cares!

Maybe I need to draw her again. Tomorrow I’ll be drawing Susan Anderson – most likely.

See you tomorrow,

KC
