I don’t like shopping for clothes.
No – really I don’t.

Why is shopping so exhausting?

From my room, straight down, is the fish pond. It’s fairly well filled with koi, goldfish, and turtles.

I remember from 2021 that there’s also a crane who lives here – but I’m not sure if he’s here this time of year.

I’ve a nice room with a view.
This is it.

I’ll be here for the next few weeks to rebuild strength and endurance for better recovery – and generally heal up from chemo and surgery.

Not that creative today…

FYI: there isn’t a parallel universe through this portal. Just laundry.

I still don’t know what I’m doing with these rose-heads.

Now wondering if the little boy should’ve been a rosebud. Probably.

I’m thinking about cake right now. A lot. No idea why.

On the 27th, about a week ago, I sketched a man with a rose head – was just playing around, but wound up really liking it.

This is me pushing the envelope on that idea and seeing if I like it still. Not sure.

Some day, I’m going to open my own cafe. This sketch is definitely going in my file of ideas for that.
